Our Mission:
BFL INTERNATIONAL exists to improve the health, dignity, and future of underserved communities through sustainable oral health education, humanitarian dental care, leadership development, and whole-person health initiatives.
We believe that lasting transformation begins with prevention, education, and empowering local leaders—not simply providing temporary relief.
By partnering with schools, churches, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and generous supporters, we help communities develop the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to improve health for generations to come.
Our programs include community oral health education, school-based prevention initiatives, leadership training, research, and humanitarian outreach throughout developing countries.
Our goal is simple:
Equip communities to care for themselves long after we leave.

Our Vision:
To empower every community to become self-sustaining in oral health, whole-person wellness, and preventive healthcare.
The inception of Brush For Life, Inc.® was to supply digital patient education for medical/dental missionaries in remote places where space, electrical power, and manpower are limited. For some groups, their only option is to pull teeth each trip, which is a less than ideal solution, but in some cases, the only option. Providing education will help patients to improve their health and save their teeth by knowing how to better care for their mouth
Out of Brush for Life has grown BFL INTERNATIONAL, a non-profit that exists for the purpose of Transforming Communities Through Oral Health, Education, and Whole-Person Care.
We work to acquire, steward, and deploy resources for humanitarian oral health and whole-person health ministries.
GIVING BACK (Written in 2016)
You have to start somewhere. For right now I am volunteering in the USA at mega-clinics put on once a year by a few different entities. Your Best Pathway To Health in CA, AZ and TX; AMEN free clinics in CA, and FreeDOM clinics in Florida. Overseas is my goal. Ultimately I want to volunteer a much as possible as an educator on mission trips. But as the education products and materials of Brush For Life® grows, so will my horizons.

Being intentional about your dreams and desires, writing them down, and speaking them aloud--gives them power and momentum. I kept the original version of "giving back" to show just how much has happened since I made this website back in 2016. Words have power. Be careful what you say. *Scroll down for updates...
GIVING BACK (Updated in 2026)

When I first wrote about giving back, I shared about starting out by volunteering locally when my church would have a health fair. Then I learned of an entity who put on mega-clinics once a year. My efforts have been put to use at Your Best Pathway To Health in CA, AZ, IN and TX; AMEN and Life & Health Network free clinics in CA, and FreeDOM clinics in Florida. Overseas was my goal--and I attained it November 2021. I was SO happy! I didn't think that could be beat, but I returned to Africa the next year and began a research study which has been my dream since 2014--it was just financially out of reach in the USA. In 2022 I enrolled in a Master's Program for Global Health in Kenya , which has been extremely helpful in preparing for my global project of Changing The Way The World Brushes.
As my horizons have grown, so have the educational products and materials of Brush For Life®.
In 2023, I sat next to a man on a domestic flight in Kenya who invited me to speak at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) when I returned. In March of 2024, I spoke there and was invited to host an annual dental campaign, which has grown into a 15-chair event. We have done this in 2025 and 2026, growing from one local hygienist volunteer to eight!

The Next Chapter: 2027 and Beyond
Brush for Life began with a simple conviction: if we could change the way people brush their teeth, we could improve not only oral health, but overall health and quality of life.
That vision remains unchanged.
What has changed is our ability to put that vision into action on a much larger scale.
Beginning in 2027, Brush for Life is entering a new phase of development—expanding from oral health education into complete community-based oral health solutions.
Through our Clinic on the Goâ„¢ program, we are partnering with churches, schools, universities, mission organizations, and nonprofit groups to bring fully equipped portable dental clinics to underserved communities around the world. Rather than asking organizations to build dental programs from scratch, we provide the equipment, systems, training, and logistical support needed to make high-quality dental outreach practical and sustainable.
At the same time, Brush for Life continues to invest in research, education, and innovation. Our preventive health curriculum, professional training programs, and ongoing research are designed to strengthen the scientific foundation of whole-person oral health while equipping future leaders to serve their own communities.
Our long-term vision extends far beyond temporary missions. We are working toward sustainable training centers where local healthcare workers, educators, churches, and community leaders can be equipped to provide preventive education and compassionate dental care for generations to come.
We believe healthy smiles open doors to healthier lives, stronger families, and more effective ministry.
This next chapter is about multiplying impact—not simply by treating more patients, but by empowering more people to serve.
Because changing the world doesn’t begin with a toothbrush.
It begins with people who are equipped, empowered, and inspired to care for others.
