The inception of Brush For Life, Inc.® was to supply digital patient education for medical/dental missionaries in remote places where space, electrical power, and manpower are limited. For some groups, their only option is to pull teeth each trip, which is a less than ideal solution, but in some cases, the only option. Providing education will help patients to improve their health and save their teeth by knowing how to better care for their mouth.

Simply put, To change the way the world brushes. More eloquently put, To take Oral-Systemic knowledge and preventative training to the world.

GIVING BACK (Written in 2016)

You have to start somewhere. For right now I am volunteering in the USA at mega-clinics put on once a year by a few different entities. Your Best Pathway To Health in CA, AZ and TX; AMEN free clinics in CA, and FreeDOM clinics in Florida. Overseas is my goal. Ultimately I want to volunteer a much as possible as an educator on mission trips. But as the education products and materials of Brush For Life® grows, so will my horizons.

Being intentional about your dreams and desires, writing them down, and speaking them aloud--gives them power and momentum. I kept the original version of "giving back" to show just how much has happened since I made this website back in 2016. Words have power. Be careful what you say.

GIVING BACK (Updated in 2025)

When I first wrote about giving back, I shared about starting out by volunteering locally when my church would have a health fair. Then I learned of an entity who put on mega-clinics once a year. My efforts have been put to use at Your Best Pathway To Health in CA, AZ, IN and TX; AMEN and Life & Health Network free clinics in CA, and FreeDOM clinics in Florida. Overseas was my goal--and I attained it November 2021. I was SO happy! I didn't think that could be beat, but I returned to Africa the next year and began a research study which has been my dream since 2014--it was just financially out of reach in the USA. In 2022 I enrolled in a Masters Program for Global Health at the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, with which has been extremely helpful in preparing for my global project of Changing The Way The World Brushes. Happily, invitations are coming in from Kenya, Greenland, Asia and the South Pacific for sustainable oral health care education programs, as well as dental care provision.

As my horizons have grown, so have the educational products and materials of Brush For Life®.

In 2023 I sat next to a man on a domestic flight in Kenya who invited me to speak at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) when I returned. In March of 2024 I not only spoke there but was invited to entertain the idea of creating a diploma program on Oral Hygiene Education. I suggested it be a class, instead, and incorporated into their nursing, nutrition, and public health programs, not only to augment their service to community members, but to set up sustainable programs in their home villages.

In January of 2025, BFL Inxl team members and myself met with the CEO of KMTC. After sharing my vision for a course, the CEO, Mr. Kelly Oluoch, asked me to collaborate with them for their 100 year anniversary between now and 2027. They saw a much bigger vision than what I proposed, and asked about launching a webinar series for all areas of health professionals, an annual dental camp in at the Teso campus, collaborative research, and other joint ventures.

In the states, I am launching a certification program for

Health & Wellness Lifestyle Centers
Volunteers abroad (or at home)

who want to create a sustainable program in the community they serve or present during dental camps abroad.

Brush For Life also has a surprise product to be rolled out this between 2025 and 2026-- just for mission trips and free clinics making a full-on clinic more affordable and better than ever.
